I ordered a chair in October! I still have not received it.. after numerous calls and voicemails left I resorted to email. To be told it will be delivered to woods furniture in the middle of January! When will i get it??????
AVOID WOODS FURNITURE LIKE YOU WOULD AVOID COVID 19!!!!This is the worst company we have dealt with in the past year.Absolutely shocking customer service...we ordered bar stools in November with a 4 week delivery time. After no delivery, we have now been told they are not expected till the SUMMER!!!!We expect a full refund immediately!!!!!

Frustrated by on line trawling a friend recommended Woods. The choice was excellent and the help impressive ( genuinely felt we were being listened to and not just sold things ).In a time when so much is impersonal the woods experience was refreshing and human.I'm optimistic everything is delivered in a timely fashion because i will then recommend to everyone I know.
Went here after Wayfair let me down very badly gave them a ring after looking on there website and it was a video call they can’t see you but you can see the item a lot better Sam was brilliant I said I like three dining chairs but i didn’t know what would go with a dining bench I brought from them previously sam said they had my bench in the shop and he said would go and get the three dining chairs and put them next to it so I could see what they look like and I pick one with Sam help and ordered on the Tuesday night and Thursday afternoon they arrived they look lovely and what brilliant service thank you woods will definitely come again if need furniture
I have bought two fab sofas from this store, and a rug too. The girl who served me was so helpful, she wasn’t pushy, very intuitive of my needs. I asked her name, she is the manager Karen Symes. I would not hesitate to recommend this store. Excellent service.
The product specifications described the top as being made of walnut. What arrived was plastic. I did in fact dread opening the box when I saw a big "made in China" written in the front of the box. It took three months to arrive, which I assumed was because some local carpenter was actually making the table. But the box said it was dispatched from China on the same day of purchase. So the piece of plastic was well ready to go. I note in British review website some other people had plastic arrived. I should have checked before ordering. I see here in trust pilot they all complain about the long times of delivery. This is probably just a foreign company with an office in the UK. They also make it impossible to return. You obviously need to open the box to check the product, but if you damage the box and don't return it in perfect condition they don't give you a refund. Moreover you willl have to pay the delivery yourself.So I am stuck with the piece of plastic which I will use as an outside table if I will ever have a garden.
This review would be zero, but can't do less than 1!Avoid this company at all costs!I ordered a table and bench nearly 6 months ago, with estimated time frame for delivery 12 weeks. I had one phone-call from the company just before delivery due date, to say there was a 'slight' delay, of a couple of weeks. Since then, nothing!I have called and emailed, and each time been fobbed off, saying couple more weeks, then again nothing! Each time I have had to contact them, they have not attempted to contact me. It transpires the furniture is made in Asia, which is contrary to what the website leads you to believe.The 'family run' local business leads you to believe the items are made and crafted in this country, but this appears not to be the case.My complaint is not purely down to the delay, and misleading website, but the lack of transparency and communication.They have had my money since Nov (I paid the full amount up front).If they had been open and honest about the delays, I may have cancelled the items at an early stage, and gone elsewhere, instead of hanging on, hoping they would arrive within a couple of weeks.Judging by the other reviews on the website, it appears that the quality of the products may not be as the website states. I have had no choice but to cancel the order.
Very similar story to many others on here - horrendous service with false information provided by both those in customer service on the phone, and on the website itself. Do yourself a favour and buy from elsewhere. Ordered a sofa 2nd February with a 4-6 week delivery window. Here we are 10 weeks later and still no sofa. Not once through the whole process did Woods furniture contacted me regarding a delay or order update - I've had to chase them 6 or 7 times to get any kind of information.Every time they have the same get out clause: "We've got so many customers to let know we've had delays outside of our control, we just hadn't got to you yet". I must have amazingly bad luck that they didn't get to me for any of the several delays to my order (They clearly don't let customers know of delays, presumably to try and avoid cancellations)I was first told it would be a week delay, then 2 week delay, then end of the month, then the beginning of next. They clearly don't know, and don't care.My recent phone call 15/04/2021 they told me that it would now be beginning of May at the earliest - even though the webpage for the sofa says that they have 5+ of them in stock, and they're ready to deliver in 7-10 days. Either the webpage is intentionally misleading to get people to order sofa's that actually have far longer delivery times, or they're just so disorganised they don't know what they have in stock, and what they don't have in stock.I imagine once upon a time Woods Furniture took pride in delivering quality customer service with goods to match. Sadly, those days are long gone (seemingly like my sofa). I don't know when or if I will ever get my sofa, but do wish me luck, and please avoid the misery caused by ordering from such an incompetent group.
Phil was excellent. Very patient with me after I arrived at the Brewery square store to try out the sofa I'd ordered online during lockdown. I changed my mind about my original order, then spent hours looking round, sitting on loads of sofas and asking loads of questions. I order two different sofas. He changed everything for me. I then phoned the next day and changed sizes and he was still patient and cheerful. Patience of a saint! Well done Phil!
Purchased 6 dining chairs, they arrived really quickly and are just beautiful couldn't be happierI wanted a table, had the choice of 2 one from Woods and 1 from another place, after the brilliant service I received with the chair order and the helpfulness of the staff I spoke to directly at the store I decided to buy the one from Woods, purely based on this content and not the product - wish more companies were so courteous
5⭐️Again, I was so impressed with Phil who dealt with my first order December 2020, I placed a 2nd order on 5th Feb ‘21, I received my order today 10th March, again fabulous quality bar stools, fantastic customer service, thank you to all staff involved. Appalling service so far.Placed an order last year, delivery expected March.I then get a text from DX Monday, saying delivery Wednesday.Time slot arrives via text Tuesday 7.13 - 9.13...very short notice anyway (myself and my wife are both at work).She arranges the morning off, time owed taken...to then get a text on the morning of delivery saying 9.13 - 11.13 now.Packages arrive, bashed up boxes, which we leave to unpackage later, surprise surprise the first box (nest of tables) is smashed to bits.I had emailed and rang to complain about the time slot change, a manager never rang.I'm hoping they deal quickly and efficiently with my returns.Poor service overall, shame as the brief look at the broken table amongst the packaging appears to be well made.
